Join the Grand Prix Region on Sat. September 21 for a boat trip to explore Anacapa Island in the Channel Islands National Park.
Anacapa is actually 3 connected Islands. We will visit East Anacapa on the left. On the Island there will be a National Park Service Ranger lead tour highlighting the plants and animals, land and ocean, geology and history of the Island. After that there is time to explore the island.
CAUTION: From the landing to the top meeting area is 150 Steps. Are you physically able to make that climb? See the picture below!
You must bring your own food and water for the day along with sun and weather protection.

Meet at the dock for Check In at Island Packers, 3550 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93035 by 8:45 for a 9:30 departure for a 1 hour ride to the Island. The return boat departs at 3:45 for a 5:00 arrival back in Oxnard.
