Another Driver's Delight - Not Angeles Crest Highway but just as fun on other Canyon RoadsGroup 1 .
We will start in Tujunga at the Sunland Mall Shopping Center, 8311 Foothill Blvd, Tujunga, CA 91040 at the intersection of Foothill Blvd and Oro Vista Ave.. See map and directions for the Start location.
We will meet at 8:00 AM and Group 1 depart promptly at 9:00 AM. This event will be run under the PCA Guidelines. This way people and cars can more easily maintain physical distancing.
Starting up Oro Vista Ave which turns into Big Tujunga Canyon Road climb up to Angeles Forest Road and descend to Mt. Emma Road. We will continue through Palmdale and the Leona Valley and ultimately down Lake Hughes Road to Castaic endind at 27701 Lake Hughes Road Castaic, Ca. 91384.
Due to the anticipated size of the event, participants may be divided into groups with staggered starts.
Participants will be assigned to a group with specified check in and departure times. Even if you are not a lead or sweep car, all members should be familiar with the PCA Tour Guidelines https://www.pca.org/resource/event-guidelines-tour
For safety reasons, PCA encourages monitoring GMRS Radios set to Channel 7, Sub-channel 20 to alert all participants to road conditions. If you have one, please bring it.
Also write down the Mobile numbers of the Lead and Sweep cars that will be given at the Participants' Meeting before the start of the tour.
