Fall Color Tour to Hermann, MO – Saturday October 21st, 2023
Join us for a leisurely ride to Hermann, MO on Saturday, October 21st. We will experience the great driving roads and fall colors of central Missouri and the Octoberfest activities in Hermann!
We will meet the Columbia group at The Piano Bar in Hermann and enjoy a choice of lunch items.
We are meeting at the WEST Commuter Lot at 9:00 am, on the southwest corner of Hwy 94 and 40 in St. Charles. Be careful, there are TWO lots, one on the East side of Hwy 94 and ours on the West. You have to enter the lot from Hwy K, 1 mile WEST of it. We suggest gassing up and visiting the restroom before you arrive. We will leave for Hermann at 9:30 am.
There will be one rest stop along the way at the Thierbach’s Orchard in Marthasville on Hwy 47. Thierbach’s has restrooms, refreshments and lots of fall treats such as pumpkins, apples, jams and homemade cinnamon donuts. It is approximately 35 miles from the start. Continuing on, we will park in the Hermann Lumber parking lot and make the short walk to The Piano Bar for lunch. After lunch, you are free to roam about town and enjoy the Octoberfest activities.
Our mid-Missouri members will head east on October 21st to join up with the
St. Louis caravan in Hermann for their own Fall Color Tour to the popular Hermann
Wine Country OktoberFest activities. Mid-Missouri members will gather at Clover’s
Natural Market parking lot, 2102 East Broadway, across from Stephen’s Park. Please
arrive before 9:45 a.m. There will be a 10 a.m. driver’s meeting and departure to Hermann.
We will have one stop on the way at the Break Time in Fulton, with arrival in
Hermann at approximately 11:30.
Central Missouri members should also register on motorsportreg.com. Select the
“Fall Color Tour - Drive to Hermann” event and indicate that you are coming to
Hermann with the CPG tour. Join us for this colorful tour to a fun day in Hermann,
MO. Hope you can join us!
For $25 per-person you can choose one main, side, dessert and soft drink from the list below (tip is already included in the per-person cost).

This is always a well-attended event with plenty of cars so be sure to sign up early. Because of the large attendance last year, we may have two or more groups again. If you would like to help and be the Lead or Sweep car in one of the groups, please contact Steve Sullivan.

11:00 – Continue on to Hermann
